I used the palmate leaf of the common cinquefoil to texture this fine silver moon.  I paired it with a green spider web turquoise stone to mimic the color of the leaf.   A spring moon that is welcomed after a hard, cold winter.  Our lives are measured by months and seasons.  The continual cyclical nature of rest, growth, activity, and harvest brings hope to a weary soul.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Stone is a green spider web turquoise.

Dimensions

Gemstone is 6mm and the pendant is approximately 3/4" in diameter.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
